Kéya Salon aims to set the bar for the best hair salon experience possible.
We are mindful of our space being an inviting and relaxing environment and work diligently to maintain it as a salon sanctuary. Kéya has salon policies to help curate a professional and well servicing environment.

booking appointments
Appointments may be made by phone, text or online. Depending on the flexibility of your schedule and to ensure your desired date, we recommend making your reservation with as much notice as possible. Reserving your next treatment prior to leaving the salon will help keep you on a consistent service schedule.
For your convenience, you can also make your appointment reservations online by setting up an account on our website. Most services can be reserved online; however, there are some exceptions, such as extension services, due to varying service time durations and necessary ordering of hair.
For all guests of Kéya Salon, we kindly request a valid credit card or gift card number on file in order to hold your requested appointments. This is required for any service that has a booking time online, in salon, or by phone. If using a gift card to reserve your service time, the gift card value must meet or exceed the scheduled value.
pre-booking
To ensure the date and time that is most convenient for your schedule and with your preferred stylist, we recommend pre-booking your next appointment or pre-booking multiple appointments.
50% deposit for first time guests, online bookings & select services
A 50% deposit utilizing a credit card is required for scheduling appointments for all first time clients, online bookings and services which require ordering extension hair or on-site styling coordination. Extensions deposits are nonrefundable and nontransferable for other services. We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay and Venmo. Cash may not be used for deposits.
24hr notice cancellations
As a courtesy to other guests and our team members, if you need to cancel your appointment, we require a 24-hour notice prior to your scheduled service; To cancel an on-site event location service without penalty, we require one weeks notice. In the case you fail to arrive for your scheduled service(s) without providing a 24 hour notice, you will be charged 50% of the service cost.
Guests may cancel bookings made online up to 24-hours in advance of the time of the appointment online by going to their Phorest account from the automatic text or email, or calling/texting the salon directly. Users who cancel appointments with more than 24 hours notice will have zero penalty.
By making a reservation, or paying for charges with your credit card or bank card, you agree that if you cancel your reservation with less than 24 hours notice, you authorize the service provider to charge to your credit card or debit card without further reference to you an amount lower or equal to your booking or an amount that might be set out in the service provider's terms and conditions. For this purpose your credit or debit card will be securely stored by Phorest pay/International Bancard.
appointment confirmations and reminders
For your convenience, we can confirm your appointments by text message or email. We kindly remind you that technology cannot always be relied upon and, therefore, it is best to put your appointments in your calendar at the time you make your reservation.
day of your appointment: clean hair+YOU time
Please arrive to the salon on time and with your hair in decently clean condition. It is a myth hair should be dirty prior to a color, if the hair is too dirty, it will block the color from adhering.
To make yours and our other salon guests experience as enjoyable as possible, we do not allow other persons to hang out in the salon without having a scheduled salon appointment.
minors
When a guardian is not present, there will be further communication with the minor, and we have to rely the guardian and minor were in agreement and we are providing all services based on all communications.
information collection and how it is used
We do collect personal information directly from individuals who volunteer to use some of our services. Collection of this information is required to deliver the specific services, but use of these services is voluntary.

special needs and accommodations
Please notify our salon staff of any special needs prior to scheduling your appointments. Knowing your needs beforehand will allow us the opportunity to find ways to accommodate a disability, within reason. We provide handicap accessible parking, restrooms, elevator, hair stations, but possibly not shampoo bowls.
reviews
You may receive an email after a completed appointment with a services provider asking you if you wish to leave a review. When you leave a review the information will be submitted to the services provider and Phorest. This information will be stored securely in computer storage facilities. If you choose to do so you agree Phorest, Kéya Salon or the services provider the appointment was with can publish your review should they choose to do so. If Phorest or the services provider choose to publish your review only your first name will be published with the review however the services provider or Phorest will not be held responsible for any wording by you in the review that might reveal your identity.
photography
It is a regular part of our business to take photos in the salon. Guests throughout the salon may be included in the photographs used for marketing and social media purposes. Unless specifically stated by you to the salon or your service provider, you agree to being in potential photos. Your service provider or another member of Kéya staff may request to take a photo of work done on your hair from the salon, you have the right to refuse.
chemicals and allergies
If you have chosen to receive a chemical service with us, we pride ourselves on our high level of skill and our long-lasting relationships with our guests. Here are some tips that can make your service results more successful:
1) Chemical services can have varying results based on your individual hair.
2) It is extremely important that you make your stylist aware of any and all other processes you have used on your hair.
3) Your clothes may be exposed to the chemicals and products despite our best efforts to protect them. If you would prefer, you can dress down into a smock to avoid this risk.
4) There is a risk of your jewelry (earrings and necklaces) being damaged or lost during your service. We recommend you remove them before your service.
5) Please feel comfortable contacting Kéya Salon at any time after your service if you have any questions or concerns.
It is your responsibility to make your stylist aware of any allergies you have, as well as all the processes you have used on your hair in the past 24 months to assist in their assessment of your hair's current status and the process that you need to achieve the desired results. This is very important information and any information you withhold regarding your previous processes will increase your chances of damage and the potential for unpredictable chemical reactions. Chemical processes may cause some damage to the integrity of your hair. There are products recommended to improve the health of your hair as well as maintain the results after the service.
product purchase return policy
Customers have a 30-day window to return purchased items for a refund or exchange, provided the goods are unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging. A receipt held in our system or emailed to you is mandatory for processing returns, which should not be sent back to the manufacturer. Partial refunds may apply in cases where items are not in their original condition, are damaged, or missing parts not due to the store's error, or if returned after 30 days. Refunds, processed to the original method of payment, are subject to the policies of the card issuer and may take some time to be officially posted. For items on sale, refunds are unavailable, while exchanges are only processed for defective or damaged goods.
